For Petty fans, the best is yet to come. Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers new album Mojo will be released next Tuesday as a standard CD and or digital download. On June 29^th, however, the group (which has not produced a collection in 8 years) will be the first contemporary recording artists to release a stand alone Blu-ray Disc of their album.It has 256 times more resolution than a CD and is available exclusively through Amazon and a few independent retail stores. Also available on June 29^th, is special 18 gram 2-LP Vinyl Version of Mojo. Tom Petty’s Mojo tour kicked off last week in Denver and is scheduled to appear July 17^th at the United Center in Chicago.
