American Psycho (2000)
Description: The same thing that makes you trust and grateful to have Christian Bale as Batman isn’t here in American Psycho. Alter ego anybody? Watch out for some Phil Collins appreciation followed by a little murder. And you thought the Beach Boys music was scary in the trailer?
War of the Worlds (2005)
Description: Tom Cruise jumping up and down on Oprah’s coach has got nothing on this one. We’re not saying it’s great but anything with the words “Tom Cruise” and “scary” in the same sentence usually go together. Plus that whole Alien space crafts seeking you out everywhere and destroying you thing is pretty scary.
The Exorcist (1973)
Description: A girl is possessed by the devil and nobody knows what to do about it. Her mother has doctors, and other types of experts come in to see what is wrong with her but none of them know for sure what is wrong with her. Then the exorcist is called in and things get really crazy.
Description: If you enjoy swimming in the ocean don’t watch this movie. Jaws gets you thinking every time you step foot in the ocean. Classic.
28 Days Later (2002)
Description: This movie takes place in England. The main character wakes up in a hospital and as he leaves he notices that nobody is in London. The streets are empty, the buildings are empty and it seems like there is almost no life there at all. Well, maybe some in zombie form.
Description: This movie is about a group of demons that will torture people however they can. There has to be a ceremony to wake the demons but as soon as this is done then they will kill whoever is in their way. You might not want to watch this at night if you’re looking to get sleep.
Mothman Prophecies (2002)
Description: Try losing a loved one and getting mysterious calls that lead to more questions than answers. Then realizes that the phone isn’t plugged in. Throw in some late night stops to the same house every night at the same time banging on the same person’s door while they try to kill you.. and you don’t even remember it. Deja vu anyone?
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Description: Based on a true story, Texas Chainsaw Massacre is about a man in Texas known as Leatherface ,who brutally murders people. His mask he wears is made of human skin and he will kill anyone that crosses his path. Here’s a good tip for the future. Don’t ever go into anyone’s house in Texas that you don’t know.
