[lastfm]U2[/lastfm] has added a new date to their 2011 summer trek of North America. Their 360° tour will now stop at Nashville’s Vanderbilt Stadium on July 2nd.
This recently booked Nashville show, which will open with Florence and the Machine, will be the first show the band has played in Music City since 1989.
Before starting their summer tour in May, the band is playing shows in Auckland, New Zealand, on November 25 and 26, then traveling to South Africa and Mexico before heading out on their North American leg.
The first tour date for the North American tour will be May 21 in Denver, followed by 19 more concerts around the continent.
