First of all congratulations again to all the K-HiTS winners of tickets to see Sir [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paul McCartney[/lastfm] at Wrigley Field. It will be a memorable time for everyone.
You can bet it will include all your favorite [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Beatles[/lastfm] songs. Paul has begun his shows with “Hello Goodbye” in the past few years and usually ends his show with “You Never Give Me Your Money” – which is the closing medley on Side 2 of “Abbey Road” – the biggest selling Beatles album of all time. And in between these two songs there will be a number of surprises. In the shows I’ve attended, Paul devotes a number of minutes to Beatles partner [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]John Lennon[/lastfm] and performs a song or two that John composed.
And if you’re ever fortunate enough to get an autograph, Paul will never just sign his name. He said he doesn’t want anyone to sell his autograph, so he’ll ask your name and personalize his signature. And why would anyone want to sell Paul’s autograph?
So if you’re lucky enough to attend one of the two shows, note that almost everyone in the huge crowd will be singing along with most of the tunes. Beatles fans know all the words to these songs.
