You can’t just play any ol’ song to pump the Blackhawks up enough to win, you need the perfect soundtrack. Now, if you’ve watched as many Blackhawks games as I have (and I would wager that you have), you probably have the dozens of songs they play during a game nearly memorized.
Below are some of my favorites.
Bad Company – Can’t Get Enough
Can’t Get Enough of those Hawks. Listen closely during a time out, and this Bad Company great might just be what you hear.
Also, find out how to enter to win tickets to see Bad Company here.
Styx – Blue Collar Man
The Blackhawks give a little security before this song is played, which is usually after stoppages.
The Beatles – Can’t Buy Me Love
But you can win me love. This doozy (did I just say doozy? Who am I?) by the Fab Four plays after a game (preferably a winning game).
The Fratellis – Chelsea Dagger
One song though… one song is more important than all the other songs. There’s one song you want to hear more than any of the other songs. That song, friends, is Chelsea Dagger by the Fratellis. Played after the Blackhawks score a goal, it doesn’t matter whether you love or hate the song, you’re happy to hear it.
