Not too long ago, you could catch the amazing Cameron Esposito hosting Chicago’s best open mic every Wednesday night at Cole’s.

But she’s moved on! Abandoned our wonderful city for sunny LA. And, as it turns out, she’s still really, really funny.

Making her late night debut, Cameron was recently on Craig Ferguson. This episode seemed even more monumental for Cameron (not to mention Chicago comedy pride in general) thanks to the fact that Jay Leno just so happened to be there. Esposito was even able to include Jay in her stand-up, which he seemed to genuinely enjoy.

Anyway, congratulations, Cameron! As jealous as all the miserable comedians left in Chicago are of you right now, it’s really cool to see someone off in LA being super-duper awesome.
