John Lennon Bus Honors Chicago Band
John Lennon may have died decades ago, but he lives on!
… In a bus.
The bus in question is the representative of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, an organization that awards musicians with the money and resources they need to make their music.
Yesterday (September 18), the John Lennon Songwriting Contest was in Chicago with their bus, which doubles as a state-of-the-art studio, to visit a Chicago band. That band was Jonas Friddle and the Majority, who won the 2013 International John Lennon Songwriting Contest, which netted them $20,000 bucks and some sweet studio equipment.
It’s nice to know that even in death, John is helping music thrive.
