Transformers: Age of Extinction will be filming downtown again this weekend, both on the streets and in the air.
You might be able to find the stars of Transformers: Age of Extinction — Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer — near 111 S. Wacker Drive. There are plans to film there starting Friday, September 27th, at 7 p.m. until Monday morning. According to a letter sent out to businesses, there might even be pyrotechnics.
This could mean street closures for:
Wacker Dr. from Washington to Adams
Franklin St. from Madison to Adams
Monroe St. from Canal to Franklin
Madison St. from Canal to Franklin
Michael Bay and Crew will also be filming aereal shots. The plan is to shoot aereal shots around Middle Wacker and Lake Shore Drive on Saturday, September 28th, between 3 pm and 5 pm. This shouldn’t affect traffic on LSD.
This could be the last set of shots for the crew of Transformers: Age of Extinction in Chicago. So if you’ve been meaning to get a glimpse of a giant, killer robot, you better get your butt downtown this weekend.
