Beatles Wednesday Video: ‘Anna (Go To Him)’

If this is one of your favorite Beatles songs, then you’ve got something in common with John Lennon.

Rumor is that it was one of John Lennon’s favorite Beatles tunes as well.

“Anna (Go To Him)” wasn’t written by The Beatles, it was actually written by a guy named Arthur Anderson, who also penned hit tunes Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones and even Jerry Lee Lewis.

The song was featured on The Fab Four’s 1963 debut album and features John Lennon on lead vocals.

One funny thing you’ll notice about this song is that even though the title is “Anna (Go To Him)” that’s not what the lyric in the song is.

Lennon actually sings Anna Go WITH Him.
