Why Did The Minnesota Wild Have To Apologize To The Blackhawks Mascot?

Violence at a hockey game? Unthinkable!

No, I’m being serious!

The Minnesota Wild issued an apology after a skit during a recent game elicited complaints. In the skit, the Wild’s mascot, Nordy, jokingly beat Blackhawks mascot Tommy Hawk with a bat. You can watch below.

Here’s the apology that the Minnesota Wild gave to The Chicago Tribune: “We apologize to anyone offended by the mascot skit Thursday night. It was certainly not our intention.”

What do you think? Would you want your kids watching this?
