The Chicago Children’s Theater Is Opening This Week In The West Loop

What can you buy for a buck that will end up costing you nearly 8.5 million in the end?

A Former CPD 12th District police station in the West Loop was sold to the Chicago Children’s Theater for that much awhile back.

To transform the building into what they needed, that’s what DNA Info Chicago says the children’s theater people paid to turn the space into what they needed.

Building classrooms, trapeze and everything else doesn’t come cheap I guess!

There’s a ribbon cutting ceremony today and then an open house scheduled for Sunday if you want to check the place out, which is located at 100 South Racine! That’s basically Racine and Monroe in the West Loop.
