Robert Palmer was born in Batley, England January 19, 1949 and grew up on the island of Malta. He formed his first band at the age of 20.

In late 1976, Robert Palmer made his debut on the US music charts. Addicted To Love became the biggest hit of his career ten years later. In 2003, Palmer would die from cardiac arrest at the age of 54.

Blessed with a strong voice and good looks, his music videos were some of the most unique and memorable of the ’80s.
