The state is headed toward it’s third year without a budget and here’s the latest ripple effect from that.
Remember how the Secretary of State’s office didn’t have any money to send out notices?
Well, somehow with money from somewhere they were able to once again send out the notices.
Problem is, that cash is about to run out, so Secretary of State Jesse White has an idea to fill that budget hole.
He’s proposing that the state sell ads on those notices, which would pay for the postage it costs to send them out.
It’ll be interesting to see if this happens or not!

It wasn’t a person, though, it was a fish.
Officials had to put the nearly 90 year old lungfish down after it’s health deteriorated over the last several months.
