Turntable Tuesday Video: ‘Everybody Plays The Fool’ By The Main Ingredient

Did you know that the group The Main Ingredient features the father of a pretty famous actor?

The group was made up of Tony Silvester, Luther Simmons Junior and Cuba Gooding Senior, the dad of the actor of the same name.

“Everybody Plays The Fool” was probably the group’s biggest hit, reaching #3 on the Billboard charts back in 1972.

Aaron Neville also had a hit with a cover of the song 19 years later, taking his version to #8 on the charts.

All day long will dust off songs like this that you may not have heard in awhile for Turntable Tuesday!
