President George W. Bush made his first appearance on The Ellen Show today to talk about his new book, Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors.
President Bush has taken to painting during his years post-office, and decided to use his newfound talent to tell the stories of 98 veterans stories.
“Our veterans are an unique asset for our country. We need to not only honor them, but, to the extent they want help, help them transition from the military to civilian life. All of the proceeds go to the Bush Center for the veterans program.
