Summer concert season isn’t even upon us, and yet there’s a slew of great shows to see. For those itching for a taste of what’s to come in June, July and August, check out a few of the concerts below.
George Thorogood and the Destroyers
George Thorogood’s taking his thick, blues riffs and coarse voice to Saint Charles, Illinois, and he’s bringing the Destroyers with him.
“The ‘Rock Party Tour’ promises to raise the bar, rock the house and tear off the roof like never before,” said Thorogood in a statement. “We play for a different audience every night, and that keeps it fresh. There are people who’ve never seen us before, and we have to impress them. There are fans that keep coming back, and we want to surprise them.”
Mariah Carey and Lionel Richie
Mariah Carey and Lionel Richer’s upcoming shows have been dubbed the “All the Hits” tour, and it seems like they’re prepared to deliver.
With… what? 37 top-10 hits between them, that’s a lot of hits.
They play the United Center on March 25th.
Bon Jovi released their first album over 30 years ago, and here they are still making great music. Talk about longevity.
The band’s currently on tour in support of This House is Not for Sale, which came out in November. The album debuted at number on on the charts with over 128,000 physical albums sold.
