Could Some Illinois Prison Guards Soon Be Replaced By Cameras?

Jeez, what could possibly go wrong with this plan?

(Yes, that was sarcasm, just in case you were wondering!)

Even though Illinois hasn’t had a budget in longer than we can remember, Governor Rauner has a way to save the state a couple of bucks.

He wants to replace some prison guards with cameras.

Sure, this would be a lower security prisons, but does this strike anyone else as a bad idea?

Here’s a guy that was too good at his job.

A parking ticket attendant in the 39th ward has been rotated out of the ward after receiving complaints.

The Sun-Times says he wrote a lot of tickets, which, not surprisingly, got a bunch of complaints.

That’s something you’d expect, but others alleged that this guy argued with some of the people he was writing tickets for.

On top of that, there’s also claims that he went on Facebook to brag about how many parking violations he was ¬†writing, which got even more people complaining.

Will the new Republican health care bill pass?

We’ll find out later today when the bill goes up for a vote in the House, but insiders say there is a pretty good possibility it might not pass.
