Morgan Freeman does NOT like to be asked to record people’s voicemails. But if you’re Mark Zuckerberg, he’ll happily help you build a personal artificial intelligence assistant.
He made this clear on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
He recorded Zach Braff’s voicemail, but only because he lost a heft bet to Zach while recording his latest movie, “Going in Style,” with him.
But when Mark Zuckerberg asked Freeman to record audio for his personal artificial intellgence — not the next big Facebook invention, mind you — he happily agreed.
“He’s just building something for his own… fun,” Freeman explained. “He’s dabbling at artificial intelligence, a computer he calls Jarvis, and Jarvis wakes him up, makes coffee, opens blinds… He asked me if I would be the voice. I said, ‘Sure!.'”
Mark Zuckerberg, Freeman says, is a good friend to have.
