Ever walk out to where your car is supposed to be….but it’s been towed away?
During the winter months we have to deal with snow parking bans, whether there is snow or not.
It doesn’t get any easier in the Spring, because as of April 1st, the city’s started street cleaning.
They’re supposed to post orange signs to tell you when it’s supposed to happen in your neighborhood, but you know how that goes.
Best bet is to check the City of Chicago’s website to see if a street sweeper is headed to your block anytime soon.
I was amazed when I found out how much they charge you if you accidentally leave your car on the street when one of the street sweepers come through!.
According to the Chicago Tribune, you’ll be fined $60 and your car will get towed and if you’ve ever been towed, you know that isn’t cheap.
That runs around $150 in towing and storage fees!
