“You’re traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Your next stop…The Twilight Zone.”
How many of you can recite Rod Sterling’s opening lines by heart?
“The Twilight Zone” aired it’s pilot episode on CBS in November of 1958 and became a weekly TV series just shy of a year later and continued to air until 1964.
The series didn’t end there though.
There was “The Twilight Zone” film in 1983 and a revival of the TV series in 1985 and in 2002 as well!
As iconic as Rod Sterling’s opening narration is, the theme song is as equally or even more!
As soon as you hear it, you know exactly what show it is!
