Chicago Cubs’ Players Were Everywhere But Wrigley Field Yesterday!

The Chicago Cubs home opener was Monday and while it may have ended Tuesday morning, players had yesterday off.

Well, at least from playing baseball.

It seems like there were Cubbies here, there and everywhere yesterday.

Check out all the places that CBS 2 says the players were:

Javy Baez had a street named after him in Humbolt Park…

Anthony Rizzo was randomly welcoming visitors to Chicago at O’Hare…

Other players were taking pictures or attending different events around the city.

So much for a day off huh?

I think it’s cool that they’re doing all this, but maybe they could play a little baseball too? LOL!

The Cubs face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers again tonight at Wrigley Field and they’ll also get their World Series rings too!

They were dropped off by armored car yesterday! (Probably because each one of them has 108 diamonds in them!)
