Here’s Why You Heard A Church Bell Ring 150 Times In Lincoln Park Sunday!

I heard these church bells yesterday and figured I’d hunt down just why!

At first I though that the church bells at the Episcopalian Church of Our Savior in Lincoln Park were on a timer that was busted and they couldn’t turn them off!

Turns out that wasn’t the case!

The people at DNA Info say the bells were actually rang 150 times to celebrate the church’s 150th anniversary!

The place has been around since before the Chicago Fire! How amazing is that!

So Happy 150th Birthday Episcopalian Church of Our Savior! You hardly look a day over 135!
