From what I’ve heard, there’s not a lot of people born here that could pass a US Citizenship test.
But Cubs catcher Miguel Montero sure did!
Montero is originally from Venezuela but has been in the US for about six years.
He told the Chicago Tribune that he decided about eight months ago to take the test and become a US citizen.
Problem is, it’s not the kind of test that you can just cram for the night before.
Montero says he studied for a full month ahead of it, while still playing baseball, before taking the test earlier this week with his wife.
I’ve heard it’s a tough test, but Montero must know his stuff, because he posted this picture on social media:
