The City Of Chicago Is Hosting A Free House Music Day At Millennium Park May 27th!

Everyone knows that House Music was born right here in Chicago, right?

So, it only seems fitting that Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs would hold a House Music Day in Millennium Park at the end of the month.

The best part of all this?

It’s completely free!

There’s supposed to be DJ’s and music free of charge from 2 PM to 9 PM in Millennium Park on May 27th.

So why is House Music called House Music?

Well, according to Fox 32 News, that’s because it was first created and gained popularity at a club called The Warehouse.

I guess I wouldn’t know that because I was hanging out at Faces, Mothers and Limelight around that time! čÖé
