TV Theme Friday: ‘Full House’

Since the original “Full House” was an anchor for ABC’s Friday night TGIF lineup, it only seems fitting to pick it as this week’s TV theme!

The series ran from 1987 to 1985 and typically did fairly well in the ratings.

While the series is mostly remembered as running on Friday nights, it actually ran on Tuesdays AND Fridays at one point during it’s run.

I guess I’d forgotten this, but the show actually aired it’s last three seasons on Tuesday nights.

You can also catch reruns of this show all over the place, so it’s safe to say that it’s been on the air non-stop for just about three decades!

It also spawned “Fuller House” that’s no airing on Netflix.

Did you know that the songs theme song actually had a name?

Yep, it was called¬†“Everywhere You Look”¬†and was done by Jesse Frederick, who also wrote the theme songs for Perfect Strangers Family Matters, and Step By Step for ABC.
