So you spend nearly a grand on some moon dust…and then the government tries to confiscate it from you.
That’s what happened to this Chicago woman, but she fought back….and won!
Nancy Carlson bought the dust for $995 bucks at a government auction a couple of years ago and wanted to make sure it was the real deal.
She sent it to the Johnson Space Center to find out but they told her it wasn’t supposed to have been sold and she wasn’t getting it back.
A judge though ruled that they couldn’t do that, so now she has the stuff back.
So what does she plan to do with it?
Well, sell it of course!
The Chicago Tribune says that the stuff could go for millions when it’s sold at auction in july.
