Cuz it’s Summer: ‘All Summer Long’ By Kid Rock

When you talk about Kid Rock’s 2008 hit “All Summer Long”, you can’t do so without mentioning Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London” and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama.”

That’s the two songs that were sampled for this song.

So it’s not surprising that Kid Rock’s song was a hit, considering it contains parts of two hit songs!

The song also features yet another K-Hits artist, Uncle Kracker, as co-writer of it too!

Funny thing is, while the song is all about summertime in Northern Michigan….the music video was actually shot on a lake in Nashville, Tennessee.

But no matter where then video was shot…it sure does capture the feeling of summer doesn’t it?
