What Did The Chicago Bears Do During The National Anthem Yesterday?

I’m sick about hearing about it, but many different teams had different reactions to a comment Donald Trump made about owners firing players that take a knee during The National Anthem.

During yesterday’s Pittsburgh Steelers/Chicago Bears game at Soldier Field, the opposing team stayed in the locker room during the Anthem, with the exception of one player…

Alejandro Villanueva is a U.S. Army Ranger veteran who went to Afghanistan three times.

The Bears had a different reaction…

They locked arms on the sidelines as their reaction to President Trump’s comments.

I was most pleased with the way The Bears handled the controversy, but not just because they’re my team.

I like the “UNITED” approach they took!

My nephew is in Afghanistan right now, so the whole thing bugs me…
