Chicagoan Ken Brown always wanted to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, but never really got around to do it.
Well, that is until he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer four years ago.
CBS 2 Chicago says Brown is now four years removed from that diagnosis and is bringing the doctor who did his cancer surgery along with him to Tanzania to hike up the mountain.
That’s an interesting way of saving thank you!
After my prostate cancer diagnosis I still can’t think of any bucket list types of things to do….especially not hiking up Mount Kilimanjaro!
Maybe walking down Michigan Avenue at most…
