We all know and love Tommy Hawk, official mascot of your Chicago Blackhawks. While I am often perplexed by a bird’s ability to ice skate, what happened last week completely blows me away!
You would expect there to be an artist in the organization to paint the Blackhawks logo on the ice at the United Center. Alas, that is NOT the case! Well…not entirely.
With the Blackhawks back on the ice this week, there are now FIVE black and red DIVVY bikes with player numbers on the front basket. While they’re pretty cool to see, they’re also important!!!
With that shiny new 8-year Blackhawks contract extension, we will be seeing a LOT of Patrick Kane! Not only will you see him on the ice, but you’ll also spot his mug on television commercials.
As you probably know, the Blackhawks beat the Wild in overtime last night. As they celebrated their win, they got an inspiring, yet brief, speech from Coach Quenneville.
